Staff Selection Commission has declared the Revised First Round of Tentative Allocation for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2025 on 31 July 2026. SSC has provisionally recommended 232 candidates for Stenographer Grade C and 1,483 candidates for Stenographer Grade D. Candidates can download the revised allocation result PDF and check their Roll Number, selected category, allotted post code and rank. Recommended candidates must also complete the Sliding Mechanism process according to the schedule issued by SSC.

- SSC declared the Revised First Round of Tentative Allocation on 31 July 2026.
- The original FRTA released on 18 June 2026 had been withheld on 19 June 2026 after representations regarding the evaluation of the Stenography Skill Test.
- SSC completed a comprehensive review and issued the revised allocation in accordance with the Sliding Mechanism.
- A total of 10,132 candidates who submitted their online Option-cum-Preference were considered for further selection.
- Allocation has been made on the basis of merit-cum-order of preference of Posts and Departments.
- A total of 232 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Stenographer Grade C.
- A total of 1,483 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Stenographer Grade D.
- The revised result PDF contains Roll Number, candidate name, parents' names, category codes, selected category, selected post code and rank.

- Seven candidates have been debarred by the concerned Regional Offices as mentioned in the official write-up.
- Recommended candidates must log in to the SSC website and choose the venue, date and slot for the Sliding Process from 04 August to 05 August 2026.
- The physical Sliding Process will be conducted at the cities of the concerned Regional Offices from 11 August to 12 August 2026.
- Candidates who fail to attend the Sliding Process physically will be treated as absent and will not be considered for the final result.
